Opening with a school backdrop.Wonderful display by the kid who acted so naturally with out any camera fear. First 2 minute was so mesmerising(BG from Swades). The next scene is the school being shelled. This has a close resemblance of the attack in Va'l'lipunam Chegnchoalai orphanage premises from an aerial raid by Kfir fast attack crafts belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) on 14 August 2006.
For those who dont know what happened on that day....
The reason behind the shelling of a school.... That too a girls school.... SL thought that these girl might be the future suicide Tamil Tigers or just to stop the Tamil Generation on the whole. Premgopal had wonderfully pictured the pain of a death of the dear ones.

Next comes the scene where he shows the anger in each tamil's to fight back and bring justice. As the group dances, some people behind them would slowly pile up the white blocks one by one.The dancers form a pyramid like structure showing the building up of a nation, but as premgopal reaches the final top position they fall together. At the very same instance the block showing the Eelam picture is toppled down. I think even if we make a film on this issue, one cant make a scene like this that can be understood by all. Kudos to the Dancers & the kids.
Each and every person in that dance were actually performing from their heart. As they mentioned,the tears were not false. Premgopal's sister touched all the tamil hearts. We have to praise them for such a bold move to show their protest against the inhumane activity happening in SL. Even though i dont believe in god, i wish that "The God" which all believe bring peace & Happiness to our Tamil people in Eelam.
Let my first ever blogging start with a thought provoking and encourage discussion among my friends about the burning issue. "Saving our dear ones.... Tamils in Eelam"[I prefer not to mention them as Srilankan Tamils]
Let’s split this discussion into few questions that may help our arguments to be more factual & worth.
What exactly is happening to Tamils in the Island rite now?
Is SL govt taking the appropriate measure to ensure peace?
Is LTTE ready to surrender?
What is the Indian Govt stand in this issue?

Several civilians have been killed. The wounded are let to die as people are not able to move out of the bunkers due to the unprecedented barrage by the SLA.Latest reports from the medical authorities said more than 200 civilians have managed to reach the makeshift hospital. Most of them have been bandaged, but there are no medical supplies to treat the wounds.165,000 civilians remain in the safety zone and there is severe starvation which nobody is taking care of. SLA Army chooses the timings of its attacks after making people desperately hungry. All civilians are dependent on gruel to survive. There is a high risk of starvation deaths among elders. Doctors claim that many elders would die if they are not provided with food within 3-4 days.Many of them had no food for the last 3 - 4 days.Woman have to stand for hours to get 100 grams sugar and 50 grams tea.
Young childrens Starving....... No food.... No pure water..... No medicine.... And the unsaid story of women in need of proper hygiene...... Innocent people killed in the Crossfire.......
Is SL govt taking the appropriate measure to ensure peace?
In my opinion, the SLA Govt is in no mood for any peace process. They want to use this chance to prove their power(which they themselves claim) in overpowering the LTTE. After 30 long years of struggle(Ha ha ha) by SLA they have achieved this..... That too with the help of several countries including INDIA.... "peace making process" is in the "PIECE making PROCESS" in the table of SLA Govt.
Is LTTE ready to surrender? I am afraid that it would certainly happen. But as a tamilian, i least expect them to do that...
Jus imagine that tamils survival without a guardian.... Certain elite tamil people in the SLA might feel that LTTE are troublesome and their absence will be good for them. But i feel that LTTE was like a big brother looking after their siblings, who would come to resque on injustice on tamils. I agree that LTTE also have certain things to be corrected. But total destruction would still worsen the tamil sufferings.
What is the Indian Govt stand in this issue?
In single word "Double-Standard". At one side it tries to save tamils.On the other, command the SLA to finish the process... Even in an interview the Congress spokeperson Mr. Abhishek Singhvi today said that "SLA is doing the job that was given to them". Jus mark those words"given to them".... Who has given it???? Cant deny IND Govt's involvement. Even SLA President said they would Extradite Prabakaran to India. Looks like it was a paid deal given to SLA.....Its quiet funny... Clear Double Standard.

Expect for few all the others are political gimmicks. Thats too at the cost of innocent lives at EELAM. Each one gets a prime-time interview slot in News Channels for a discussion. At the end they get back to the very first question at the end of the show without any resolution. Jus like the management meeting at our office.
Are the efforts taken to save the Tamil’s enough?
No. In my opinion we havent even properly raised the core issue to the International community or to our own nation.
Many people in the north donot understand the feeling of a tamilian in Tamil Nadu. First reason is that, they are not aware of the history of Tamil struggle and the happenings in SLA. Also the media jus restricts themselves to LTTE and forget the core issue.
I still remember the exclusive telecast of the Mumbai attack and the coverage of peoples feeling towars it. So much of shortfilms were made and rolled time & again.
The same is not in the case of Tamils sufferings in SLA. They dont understand that they are still Indian by blood. They have to be saved. Before they go extinct.
